Health knows no border... Or should not.

First, obviously, because pathogens transcend frontiers.

Second, because many countries face similar challenges, such as chronic illnesses and elderly societies, workforce scarcities, digitalisation, greening healthcare, etc.

Third, because those same challenges increasingly call for networks, cooperation and partnerships. 

Vertically, we have to flatten several hierarchies: top-down decisions must further alternate with bottom-up consultations. 

Horizontally, healthcare specializations and increased complexity -digitalisation, development costs, social issues, etc- call for an increasing dialogue between professionals, departments and sectors. 

At the core of modern healthcare are new ways to collaborate.
